What Is This Role About?

Do you enjoy working outdoors, having independence in your day, building relationships, and solving problems? If so, this role may be a great fit.

Epcon Lane is not like our competition. We focus on minimal pesticide use with maximum results, which means our technicians are problem solvers, not just applicators. You’ll be trained to think critically, protect customer health, and deliver long-term solutions the Epcon Lane way.

No experience? No problem. We provide comprehensive training and licensing. Epcon Lane is certified by the National Pest Management Association as a QualityPro company, a distinction held by fewer than 3% of pest control companies nationwide.

A Day in the Life

This position works a 4-day schedule (four 10-hour days): Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday.

• Arrive at the office by 8:00 AM to meet with your supervisor, review the day, and load necessary products
• Complete your assigned route, including drive time, residential and commercial services, and any additional calls
• Address customer concerns, perform treatments, and clearly document all work completed
• Communicate with the office throughout the day as needed
• If finished early, assist other technicians or help complete additional jobs
• Head home knowing you made a real difference in your customers’ peace of mind and well-being

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Enjoys working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to obtain a pest control license within the first year of employment
• Licensing and training are paid for by the company
• Bonus opportunity upon successful licensure
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle

Compensation & Benefits

Pay:

$18–$20 per hour, DOE

Base pay plus opportunities for additional compensation

Requirements

What do I need to be successful?

• High school graduate/having a GED and a valid driver’s license are both requirements
• No experience? No problem. We will train you to complete the job the Epcon Lane way.
• You are personable and enjoy interacting with customers
• You are self-motivated and have a strong work ethic
• You can effectively present information to customers one-on-one and in small groups
• You are detailed oriented and understand the importance of safety
