Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a SCM Sustainability Intern.

What you’ll do:

Job Summary
The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Sustainability Analyst advances Eaton’s sustainability strategy through supplier engagement, ESG data management, and reporting—especially within the CDP Supply Chain program. The role develops foundational expertise in sustainability, supply chain operations, analytics, regulatory awareness, and project management, contributing directly to Eaton’s Scope 3 emissions reduction and 2030 Sustainability Goals. This position may be structured as an intern, co op, or early career analyst role depending on candidate qualifications and business needs.

Key Responsibilities
• Support Eaton’s CDP Supply Chain program and ESG objectives through supplier engagement, data management, and reporting.
• Develop foundational skills in sustainability, analytics, compliance, and project management.
• Collaborate across functions to help advance Scope 3 and 2030 Sustainability Goals.
Sustainability & SCM Foundations
• Apply environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles to supply chain operations, including procurement and supplier management.
• Integrate sustainability goals into procurement, supplier management, and category strategies.
CDP Survey & Supplier Reporting
• Execute Eaton’s CDP Supply Chain survey, including milestone tracking and submissions.
• Collect, validate, and manage supplier sustainability and emissions data.
• Monitor supplier progress and escalate risks or gaps as needed.
Analytical & Reporting Skills
• Analyze environmental and supplier data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership.
Regulatory & Compliance Awareness
• Build understanding of environmental regulations and stakeholder expectations affecting supply chains.
• Support supplier compliance with Eaton’s Supplier Code of Conduct and sustainability standards.
Project & Program Management
• Track program timelines, milestones, and deliverables across a large supplier base.
• Support continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.
Communication & Collaboration
• Partner with internal SCM, Sustainability, and Category teams.
• Communicate expectations, timelines, and outcomes clearly to suppliers and stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
• Stay current on sustainability trends, reporting tools, and best practices.
• Contribute ideas to enhance supplier engagement, data quality, and program efficiency.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in Supply Chain Management, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or related field.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external suppliers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to sustainability and disclosure platforms such as CDP, Resilinc, or RBA tools.
  • Familiarity with Scope 3 emissions concepts.
  • Interest in Eaton’s Sustainability Goals and ESG commitments.
