Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Project Manager Global Payables.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:
We are currently seeking an Project Manager Global Payables. This position is based at our North American HQ in Beachwood, OH with hybrid work available. If candidates are not located within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood, OH relocation may be offered.
Position Overview:
The Global Payables Functional Project Manager is responsible for leading the strategic oversight, administration, and delivery of the organization’s global payable projects in conjunction with enterprise initiatives. This role ensures that payables sub-processes (Supplier Add, Payments, Invoice Entry, Customer Service, APPO) tasks are optimized and executed as part of global payables projects. This role will act as a strategic advisor and key liaison between SCM, Finance, IT, and other internal/external partners. The role is instrumental in driving both functional improvements while also leading the team to support enterprise goals and initiatives around ERP implementations, acquisitions and other evolving business needs. This role requires a strong understanding of ERP's, system implementation practices and financials and is critical to the overall business executing enterprise and functional goals.
Job Responsibilities:
• Partner with senior leadership to execute the global payables project strategy and vision aligned with the company's strategic objectives and financial goals.
• Manages a team of onshore and offshore resources who will perform all functional tasks within global payables projects for all sub-functions within global payables. (Supplier Add, Payments, Invoice Entry, Customer Service, APPO etc)
• Acts in a decision gate committee capacity to make decisions on projects go/no go decisions as well as any design decision approvals
• Ensures time tracking of all project resource time is done in corresponding systems timely and reports out monthly
• Responsible for global change management planning and execution for global payables Integrations and projects and serves as the main change agent within the global payables function
• Creates the global training strategy and ensures delivery of training as part of functional project execution
• Builds organizational capability within the team to ensure team members are trained/skilled cross functionally within all global payables Sub Functions
• Build strong relationships with other Eaton functions (SCM, Treasury, IT, Tax, Legal, HR etc) and businesses to be able to influence and drive change in a highly matrixed and collaborative environment and Project Managers to collaborate on project requirements, timelines, project plans etc.
• Responsible for goal setting, developing, and the performance management of your direct (8 individuals)
• Prepare and present all key senior leader/sponsor updates related to all projects for global payables;
• Serves as the liaison between Eaton and 3rd party service provider to collaborate, provide updates and gain input to design, prioritization and testing resources on global payables projects.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Minimum of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a manager of people.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
Skills:
Position Criteria:
• Experience and understanding of Oracle's Enterprise Business Suite (EBS) and SAP ERP's and financial systems.
• Knowledge of Eaton's finance and ERP landscape.
• Experience leveraging Eaton Business System and project planning tools
• Exposure to global order to cash processes and multi-country implementations across different ERP products, including order management, billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, credit, and collections.
• In-depth knowledge of accounts payable processes.
• Understanding of general ledger, revenue recognition, and other relevant financial modules.
• Knowledge of integration in ERP modules (P2P, RTR, IC Billing etc).
• 10% travel required.
