Eaton’s AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is currently seeking a Material Handler - 2nd Shift.

The hourly rate for this position is $26.84 + $1.00 shift differential per hour. The hours for this shift are as follows: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am.

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you'll do:

The Fuel and Motion Control Systems Division of Eaton’s Aerospace Group has an opening for a Material Handler. This position is based in Euclid, OH.

The Euclid facility has approximately 300 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace Fuel Pumping components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.

Job Responsibilities:
• Receive a variety of supplies and parts from outside vendors. Handle and store materials per QCPs.
• Visually inspect supplies received for part number mismatches and/or damages. Report any discrepancies immediately to the foreman in charge.
• Issue material.
• Periodically perform cycle counts. Tag supplies and complete stock location labels as required.
• Monitor inventory levels and expiration dates of shelf-life items, and rotate stock as necessary.
• Maintain a clean stockroom/packaging and staging area.
• Receive/release parts on computerized inventory system.
• Work a computer keyboard with a degree of efficiency.
• Use established packing and labeling procedures to prepare a variety of parts and accessories for shipment to worldwide distributors, customers, and suppliers. Must be thoroughly familiar with packing and labeling requirements for both Domestic and Export shipping relative to weights, classes, enclosures and fill-in materials.
• Use electronic label making terminal to make labels and bar codes. Operate packaging machines when required.
• Make separators, lids, or other parts for containers using available appropriate materials as needed.
• Refer to note codes on pack slips to determine correct shipping and packaging requirements.
• Place records in pockets, storage tubes or other prescribed holders as diagrammed on sketch or note code on pack slip.
• Perform visual verification of proper part identification and the absence of contamination and/or handling damage per visual quality standards.
• Maintain all required logs, documents, and records as required by the Certified Operator program.
• Perform audit inspection and acceptance of product and packing in accordance with documented procedures.
• Collect empty trays and pallets.
• Perform minor maintenance on fork-lifts, packaging machines, etc.
• Lift and transport production materials, parts, products, tools, equipment, salvage materials, waste, and light weight materials individually or in trays, pans, bins, tubs, boxes, pallets, racks, etc. using power hoists, hand trucks, fork-lifts, power trucks, etc. to designated areas.

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of work location; no relocation benefit is provided.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
