Work you’ll do
As a Manager on the AI & Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and delivering small engagements, or components of large, complex engagements, for Power and Utility clients. You will use deep Utility Operations and Work and Asset Management expertise to drive implementation projects focused on operational efficiency, construction processes, asset uptime, and compliance. You will:
- Lead and deliver implementation and integration work products including architectural specifications, use cases, requirements, risk assessments, design specifications, test plans, test cases, and project financials.
- Oversee quality of deliverables by directing and mentoring teams, coordinating cross-geography delivery, and managing client relationships.
- Facilitate functional and technical workshops aligned to client priorities and scope.
- Build credibility with client stakeholders and apply Utility Operations and Work and Asset Management domain expertise across engagements.
- Apply industry benchmarks, insights, and proven methods to help clients prioritize initiatives and define strategies that improve business and customer outcomes.
- Support business development by contributing to proposals, solution approaches, and thought leadership.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 6+ years experience with utilities clients or experience working within the utilities sector
- 6+ years experience in utility operations
- 6+ years experience delivering Work and Asset Management implementations
- Experience in business process design, functional requirements, functional integration specifications, data lineage, business case development, test script development or review, and defect triage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to travel 75–100%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree
- Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), supply chain, finance, and adjacent enterprise systems process and integration design
- 4+ years consulting experience
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Cleveland, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, or Washington (state), Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California, Cleveland, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, and Washington (state) and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130,800 to $218,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
