SUMMARY Serves as a Trio Summer Academy Foreign Language instructor for high school students (9th grade-12th grade) in the Trio Summer Academy. This is a six-week instructional assignment (June – July) with planning meetings commencing in June. The instructor will work approximately 12-15 hours per week, between 1:00 pm and 3:30 pm, Monday - Thursday. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Teaches a foreign language to high school students (9th grade-12th grade) Provides classroom supervision Monitors and keeps daily log of student attendance, behavior, and academic development Assists in the development of daily lesson plans and formative summative assessments Develops and maintains class syllabi and grade reports Provides a comprehensive written summary on each class taught Develops engaging and hands-on lessons to facilitate teaching and learning
