The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and have a keen eye for detail relating to financial reports and sales data. The Procurement Manager will assist in resolving conflicts between company staff and vendors, and will work directly with marketing staff to create a positive shopping experience for customers. Procurement Manager will manage vendors and purchase raw and shop materials. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: · Procurement of raw materials, shop materials, and various other components. · Responsible for ISO Certification Process which includes development updates and heading up the audit process for recertification. · Work with Engineering Project Managers to procure key components for systems. · Updating purchase orders with the order confirmations and daily follow up when confirmation is not received. · Maintaining accurate delivery dates from vendors including extensive follow-up. · Maintaining price, lead time, and vendor information in our ERP system. · Considering price, quality, availability, reliability, and technical support when choosing a vendor. · Developing and maintaining vendor relationships. · Processing and tracking vendor return. · Working with Accounts Payable to correct any invoicing/receiving errors. · Vendor expediting to service the shop and as well as technicians in the field. · Vendor performance tracking: on time delivery, quality, and price variances. · Managing vendor files. · Manage Inventory Control and Receiving areas. · Manage and work with Inventory Control to maintain accuracy. · Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has supervisory responsibilities of purchasing agent, quality inspection, inspection and receiving. TRAVEL: This role includes a maximum of 10% travel in the continental United States. QUALIFICATIONS:
