The Seasonal Ecological Landscaper performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in maintaining flower beds and ornamental trees within Rocky River Reservation in a manner which assures a quality product and programs consistent with Park District policies.

Maintenance and Stewardship

• Weeding, pruning, mulching, deadheading
• Perform sustainable maintenance practices, including organic soil care and integrated pest management

Environmental Restoration

• Assist with habitat restoration projects, invasive species removal, and erosion control
• Support initiatives to improve soil health and water quality

Community Engagement & Education

• Communicate ecological benefits of landscaping practices to park visitors
