Duties: The Staff Physician, Hematopathology at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus (9500 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44195) diagnoses and classifies leukemias, lymphomas, and other related malignant and benign processes involving lymph nodes, bone marrow, peripheral blood, body fluids, and other anatomic sites via microscopic review of morphology combined with interpretation and integration of multi-modal high complexity ancillary diagnostic tests. He or she is responsible for identifying the etiology, pathogenesis, morphological change, and clinical significance of hematological diseases; writing pathology reports summarizing analyses, results, and conclusions; and communicating pathologic findings to treating physicians.
