Position Overview
The Circuit Breaker Technician is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and supporting the production of circuit breaker components within a manufacturing environment. This role works in a fast-paced production area focused on precision, quality, and safety.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working with small components and electrical assemblies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble circuit breaker components according to specifications and work instructions
- Perform assembly using hand and power tools
- Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Follow diagrams, blueprints, or standard operating procedures
- Conduct basic testing or assist with quality checks as required
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Identify defects or issues and report them to supervisors
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
Required Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience preferred
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Basic mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Dependable with strong attendance and work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in electrical assembly or working with circuit breakers/components
- Familiarity with hand tools, small parts assembly, or wiring
- Experience in a high-volume production environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and use hands continuously throughout the shift
- Frequent use of hands for small part assembly
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed
- Good vision (including close-up work and detail inspection)
