Job Title: Field Service Technician – CNC Machine Tools

Pay & Benefits: With CNC repair experience - $35–$45/hr $20-$30/hr with no CNC experience/has mechanical background. Direct hire. Company vehicle, cell phone, laptop, and company card provided. Benefits after hire include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), employee ownership program, life & disability insurance, paid vacation, and paid holidays.

Hours & Location: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. Based near Lorain, OH with travel to customer job sites (overnight travel as needed).

If you like hands-on work and variety in your day, this role puts you in the field installing, repairing, and maintaining CNC machine tools (mills, lathes, grinders). You’ll be the on-site problem-solver—representing the service team with strong communication, clean documentation, and quality workmanship.

Job Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on CNC machines and related equipment

Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and resolve problems promptly

Verify equipment meets quality, safety, and performance expectations after service

Read and interpret prints, schematics, and machine documentation

Use hand and power tools; perform equipment testing as needed

Document installs/repairs and create detailed service reports and records

Coordinate with project managers/engineers to keep installations running smoothly

Required Qualifications:

Prior experience with machinery/equipment installations (machine tool experience strongly preferred)

Comfortable working with both mechanical and electrical systems

Valid driver’s license; willing to travel and stay overnight as needed

Strong time management, organization, and basic computer skills

Able to work independently, multitask, and lift up to 50 lbs

Steel-toe boots required
