Now Hiring: PEM Machine Operator | Aurora, OH
Shifts:
- Weekend Shift:
- Friday: 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM
- Saturday: 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
- Weekend shift is paid for 40 hours while working 36
- Location: Aurora, OH (specific building assigned upon hire)
Pay & Benefits:
- $20 to $22 per hour, depending on experience and shift

Job Overview:
The PEM Operator is responsible for the setup and operation of PEM insertion machines used in the fabrication of custom metal components. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with previous machine operating experience and attention to detail.
The PEM Operator is responsible for the setup and operation of PEM insertion machines used in the fabrication of custom metal components. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with previous machine operating experience and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate PEM insertion machines based on product specifications
- Upload and execute machine programs according to job requirements
- Insert PEM-style fasteners as defined by the blueprint
- Validate finished parts meet customer requirements
- Perform light math functions (counts, part tracking, basic totals)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Operate independently while staying on task
- Identify production issues and notify supervisors when needed
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 12 months of prior machine operation experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read blueprints and use tape measures, calipers, and other small tools
- Good work ethic and attention to quality
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs
- Strong visual acuity for inspecting completed parts
