Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Test Technician
Location & Shifts: Streetsboro, OH
  • First Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Second Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Pay & Benefits:
  • Starting Pay: $25–$28 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
  • Hiring Path: Direct Hire
  • Full Benefits Upon Hire:

  • Paid Lunch Break: Half-hour lunch
Job Responsibilities:
  • Test and inspect electronic power equipment including transformers, circuit breakers, and power distribution units
  • Troubleshoot AC and DC circuits (up to 480 volts) and repair control/power/fiber optic assemblies
  • Use of voltmeters, current meters, hand tools, and basic electrical PPE
  • Perform programming on electronic devices and interface with computers/software for diagnostics and documentation
  • Complete test reports and maintain detailed records
  • Lift or pull up to 30 lbs and use step ladders when necessary
  • Work safely in environments with electrical voltages and moderate noise and heat during load testing
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology OR at least 2 years of experience in the power/electrical industry
  • Able to read and understand schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, and computer-based file management
  • Experienced in electrical safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out and PPE use
  • Attention to detail and manual dexterity a must
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Electrical assembly or wiring experience
  • Familiarity with NEC code, measurement tools, and small hand tools
  • Basic programming skills
  • Strong documentation and communication abilities
