Position Description:

We’re seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with strong communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate across business and technical teams in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you’ll lead software development squads using SAFe or Spotify methodologies and drive Agile solutions for top Financial Services clients. This position must be performed from Westlake, TX - onsite

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Plan, execute, and close IT projects, managing the entire project lifecycle from start to finish.
. Allocate resources, manage project budgets, and oversee vendor contracts.
. Lead project teams, facilitate meetings, and communicate project progress, risks, and goals to stakeholders and leadership.
. Identify and mitigate project risks, and ensure the deployed solutions adhere to quality standards.
. Leverage technical knowledge to make informed decisions about system architecture, software development, and IT infrastructure.
. Capture, supervise Metrics to inform the conversations with partners.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. 10+ years of software development lifecycle experience.
. 7 years of Project Management
. Ability to manage multiple projects, motivate teams, and resolve issues.
. Understanding of software development, IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and cybersecurity best practices.
. Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and external parties.
. Proficiency in creating detailed project plans, managing schedules, and maintaining project documentation.
. Ability to analyze data, assess problems, and find effective solutions.
. Experience leading and guiding team ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Stand-Ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review/Retrospective.
. Experience of collaborating with the Product Owner and other development team members for status and coordination.
. Agile/Scrum experience
. Stakeholder Management /Conflict Resolution
. Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
. Financial industry background is preferred.
. Software development background experience is preferred

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $98,500.00 - $172,400.00.
