The Marketing Specialist – Advisory Services supports the planning, implementation and administration of marketing and business development programs that drive growth across the Advisory Services practice.

This role reports to the Marketing Director – Advisory Services and works closely with other members of the Marketing team as well as Managing Directors and Directors across Advisory. The Marketing Specialist assists with marketing initiatives and projects including campaigns, content and collateral development, events, and digital marketing efforts.

This position plays an important role in coordinating tasks, advancing projects, ensuring brand consistency across materials, supporting lead generation efforts, and enhancing templates and tools.

Successful candidates demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines. This is a dynamic position requiring collaboration with internal stakeholders and the ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, takes initiative, and can work both independently and as part of a team.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Support the execution of conferences, sponsorships, webinars, and hosted/co-hosted events, including pre-event promotion, on-site logistics, and post event follow-up
  • Assist with the creation and updating of on-brand collateral materials, team biographies, presentations, and website content
  • Support the development, distribution, and promotion of thought leadership content such as articles, newsletters, case studies, etc.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including organic and paid digital and social media strategies
  • Support the coordination and preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other client pitches and presentations, as needed
  • Assist with digital marketing efforts, including social media content coordination and posting
  • Coordinate and prepare award nominations and submissions
  • Compile marketing data and assist with preparing analytics and insights related to marketing and business development initiatives
  • Ensure event attendees and marketing activities are entered into CRM and flagged for relevant nurture campaigns and follow-up coordination
  • Maintain working knowledge of key platforms such as Salesforce, Pardot, Asana, Oktopost, and others as needed
  • Conduct market and competitive research to identify trends, offerings and opportunities
  • Collaborate with regional marketing teams, industry marketers, internal creative and digital teams, and external vendors to support execution on initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA or BS in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field
  • 2 - 3 years of marketing experience in a professional services firm preferred
  • Ability to collaborate across a matrixed organization and work with cross-functional teams
  • Experience developing messaging and positioning within marketing communications
  • Ability to think creatively and visualize final marketing deliverables
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Pardot or HubSpot preferred
  • Experience with project management platforms such as Asana preferred
  • Design experience and familiarity with Canva or other design software a plus
