Grade 1 Substitute Teacher: St. Hilary School

We are seeking a grade 1 long term substitute to cover a maternity leave that will begin in March and end on June 5, 2026. School hours are from 8:00am-3:30pm and this position would be Monday-Friday. There would be opportunity to shadow the classroom teacher, meet the students and classroom assistants, and get a feel for the overall classroom procedures and school. All lesson planning would be done by the classroom teacher, but this position would require teaching, grading, communicating regularly with parents, and closing up the classroom at the end of the school year. We are seeking a person who has the minimum of a substitute license as recognized by the ODE, but would prefer a person who is a certified teacher.
