Best Buy Painting is seeking an experienced, skilled supervisor to lead our crews. We are a family-owned residential painting company based on the eastside of Cleveland. Responsibilities include:- Assigning of tasks on a per job basis to optimize workforce- Assist in the management of the crew’s schedules to optimize weekly job load- Maximizing team’s efforts to ensure the team stays on schedule while also safeguarding team safety and morale- Review/inspect work to ensure the job is completed at the highest quality before reviewing the project with the customer- Experience required with sprayer, ladder skills, and must have working knowledge in high-end painting, stains, and finish products- On-time arrival at the office, review with the customer on work to be completed- Professional, courteous client interactions- Maintenance of client records and reports for material usage, labor, time costs etc.- Take jobsite before pictures/after pictures and send them to the office- Requisition of supplies and equipment- Oversight of stock for company vehicles so they are prepared for job sites- Interactions with clients for payment upon completion of the job- Lead Certification, Aerial Lift certification, and Confined Spaces Certification a plus Assistance to the team when needed in the following tasks:- Job site preparation- Power/hand-washing for exterior jobs- Preparing surfaces for painting (repairing holes/cracks, sealing stains, sanding; removing loose paint, scuff sanding, caulking for exterior)- Thorough, effective painting of surfaces and custom finishes when applicable- Maintaining a neat, clean work setting and removing all job materials- Follow all safety policies and procedures- Maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and team members- Represent Best Buy Painting well in all interactions- Participate in safety meetings and educational opportunities as requested/required Qualifications and requirements:- Strong work ethic and personal accountability- Good time management skills- 6+ years of painting experience with considerable knowledge of tools, techniques and equipment- Exceptional customer service skills- Ability to multitask and switch between tasks- Focus on quality and detail-oriented- Unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record- Physical ability to perform all aspects of this job (repetitive movements, standing, lifting, climbing, working at heights >10 feet, etc.)- General labor/construction background a plus- Carpentry skills a plus We offer competitive pay, paid vacation, after one year a 401k plan, and holidays off. Experience:- Minimum 5 years painting and contracting work- Must be 18 or over unless otherwise approved for full time work by law Job Type:- Full-time- Monday thru Friday- Some weekend work required- 8 hour or longer shifts Pay: $18-21 per hour, eligible for bonuses.
