Position Title: Material Handler
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Full Time
Summary: Safely deliver raw material to production lines and remove finished goods, work in process, and production scrap to support continuous operation. Candidate must possess excellent forklift skills.

Job Duties
− forklift operation and material handling in a busy manufacturing environment
− verify transactions for incoming shipments
− load and unload freight and steel coils
− prepare outgoing shipments and related paperwork
− pick materials (coil, dies, containers, components) for work orders
− remove scrap (hopper)
− properly store related items
− maintain storage area
− weigh items
− prepare label(s) and tags
− safety conscious – be aware of surroundings, no shortcuts, be careful
Job Specifications or Qualifications:
Education
− High School Diploma
Experience
− Must have 2 years experience in related field

Physical Requirements
− Candidate must wear Personal Protection Equipment while on shop floor.
− Lift, carry and/or manipulate up to 50 pounds.
− Frequent walking and/or standing.
− Ability to reach, bend, push or pull to retrieve materials in production and warehouse
environment.
