| Description | Established, growing dermatology practice with three locations in the western suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a highly skilled, experienced dermatologist to join our growing healthcare team. In this position, you will perform examinations, diagnose patients, and establish treatment plans. You will be responsible for removing samples for testing and biopsies, prescribing medications and therapy treatments, and performing cosmetic procedures to improve patient appearance and quality of life. Summary of Duties and Responsibilities - Evaluate patient through questions, examinations, symptom review, and medical testing
- Examine patient skin for abnormalities or malignancies
- Request and perform biopsies, sample tissue collections, or other tests as needed
- Analysis of patient test results
- Counsel and educate patients on dermatological care, and disease prevention
- Refer patients to our cosmetic team for injections, laser resurfacing/hair removal, microneedling, Coolsculpting, etc.
- Set patient goals and discuss treatment plan
- Establish timelines, tasks, and medical needs of patient
- Develop treatment plans for medications or skin therapy to help patient reach treatment goals
- Prescribe medications, biologicals, or topical treatments, and monitor patient progress
- Refer patients to our MOHS surgeon for treatment of skin cancer
- Consult with surgeons on patient procedures
- Document patient records and progress including symptoms, medications, and treatments
- Conduct research to better serve patients
| Position Requirements | - Doctor of medicine (M.D.) degree; clinical residency or dermatological fellowship required
- Certification by The American Board of Dermatology and licensed to work in state of Ohio
- Participation in further medical education and/or professional organization memberships are preferred
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong desire to help people and improve their daily lives
- Compassionate and sensitive to patients’ needs and concerns
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
