Plan jobs and setup to maximize unattended runtime amount of machining in operation. Machine with efficiency & precision. Review, plan, & communicate when job issues are found. Request materials/tooling needs to project manager in advance. Inspect work performed. Make minor machine repairs & communicate larger issues to project manager. Clean/organize work area, dismount and put away electrodes, monitor wire resin level and empty wire bin as needed and chillers for EDM filters and coolants, and EDM filters. Complete time card daily prior to departure. Visually inspect electrode for correctness, proper clearance and poor finishes. Communicate and plan jobs with second shift on long running jobs to maximize productivity.
