About the Role:
We are seeking a Hardware Test Engineer to support the electrical verification and validation of low-voltage electronic systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electrical testing, lab instrumentation, and embedded hardware systems in a product development environment.
Pay Range: $31-$34/hr. on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Responsibilities:
- Execute electrical verification and validation testing based on established test protocols.
- Set up, operate, and maintain lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, DVMs, power supplies, electronic loads, and data loggers.
- Analyze device behavior and troubleshoot hardware issues during testing.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and test procedures.
- Work with embedded hardware systems to validate product functionality.
- Collect, analyze, and document test results and provide recommendations for product improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in hardware testing or electrical validation.
- Experience testing low-voltage electronic systems.
- Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVMs, power supplies, electronic loads, environmental chambers, and battery testers.
- Ability to read electrical schematics.
- Experience with embedded hardware or embedded systems testing.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in product verification and validation.
- Familiarity with medical devices or other regulated industries.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
