Akkodis is seeking a DevOps Associate Release Engineer role is a Full-time with a client in Westlake, OH (Onsite).
Salary Range: $65k-70K/annum + Benefits; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job purpose
- The DevOps Associate Release Engineer contributes toward the DevOps Team’s goals with a focus on environment maintenance and deployments.
- This team member contributes to manual and automated deployments, including internal deployments and configuration changes.
- They assist with software tool updates and patching across environments as well as database syncing.
Duties and responsibilities
- Environment support
- Database syncing
- Internal deployments
- Configuration deployments
- Software tools updates
- Production deployments
- Monthly production patching
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in the IT industry.
- Technical aptitude including ability to rapidly assimilate new technologies
- Excellent interpersonal skills and reliability including ability to communicate effectively with various teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills including analytical, organizational, and issue resolution
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar
Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or IT bootcamp or equivalent work experience
- Experience with ActiveBatch or similar job scheduling tool
- Experience with SQL Server
- Understanding of Agile development methodology
- Understanding of Git source control system
- Microsoft Development technologies such as C#, SQL, SSRS, Azure DevOps/TFS
- Experience working with offshore team
