Solution Architect Location: Hybrid – Northern Ohio/Cleveland Department: Pre-Sales Engineering / Solution Architecture Reports To: Director of Presales The Solution Architect partners with Advizex Account Executives to deliver strategic, outcome-driven technology solutions to both new and existing clients. This role combines deep technical expertise, consultative leadership, and strong client engagement to architect solutions that align with business goals and drive measurable results. As a key technical thought leader within the Advizex Presales organization, you will design and architect solutions spanning hybrid cloud, data center infrastructure, cloud management and operations, security, AI and public cloud. The Solution Architect plays a pivotal role in guiding customers through their digital transformation journey—bridging strategy, design, and delivery while maintaining trusted client relationships. Key Responsibilities • Serve as a trusted advisor and technical thought leader to clients and internal teams. • Lead technical discovery, design workshops, and solution presentations that align Advizex offerings to client objectives. • Architect and validate multi-domain solutions across infrastructure, cloud, and security disciplines. • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to define and execute comprehensive account strategies. • Develop solution proposals, configurations, and Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring alignment with client requirements and Advizex standards. • Leverage and coordinate subject matter experts (Practice Directors, Solution Principals, Services, etc.) to scale client engagement and drive successful outcomes. • Educate and mentor peers and customers on emerging technologies, best practices, and Advizex solution frameworks. • Contribute to internal innovation by sharing field insights and collaborating on new offerings and service development. • Present at Advizex events, industry conferences, and customer briefings to reinforce our expertise and thought leadership. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience). • 5+ years of experience in technical presales or solution architecture within enterprise IT. • Proven expertise in one or more of the following domains: storage, networking, compute, virtualization, automation, or security. • Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence technical and business audiences. • Experience leading complex technical sales campaigns from discovery to design handoff. • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-driven, customer-focused organization. • Recognized by partners and clients for technical credibility and leadership in solution design.
