Job Details
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: In-person, Monday-Friday approximately 8:00AM-4:00PM (school hours dependent on district)
Compensation: Therapists: $38-$48 per hour based on experience; Assistants: $28-$37 per hour based on experience
Qualifications
- Valid state license and board certification as applicable
- OT/OTA degree from an accredited program
- Clear background check
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- A passion for helping children reach their full potential
- School or pediatric experience is preferred!
Therapist Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ strengths and challenges related to performance in the school environment
- Provide direct and/or consultative therapy services to school-aged students
- Supervise therapy assistants and collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers
- Participate in Evaluation Team Report (ETR) and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school, state, and federal guidelines
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans focused on helping students succeed academically and functionally
- Monitor student progress, document interventions, and adjust plans as needed to ensure measurable outcomes
- Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive technology, classroom accommodations, etc as applicable
- Perform other job duties as assigned
Assistant Responsibilities
- Execute individualized therapy activities and plans designed by the supervising therapist, serving students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to integrate therapy strategies into the daily routine
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school, state, and federal guidelines
- Collect data, monitor student performance, and maintain accurate progress reports for student goals
- Adapt and modify learning materials, classroom environments, and adaptive equipment to accommodate students with diverse needs
- Perform other job duties as assigned
